So, what’s CORDOVA’s story?

Our story started out humbly, beginning in a garage over 25 years ago in Cordova, Tennessee. We quickly grew into a full-range, head-to-toe industrial supplier of personal protective equipment (PPE) winning awards and recognition along the way. While once privately owned, we are now part of the much bigger, global organization of  Bunzl Distribution. Their North American headquarters are located in St. Louis, MO, while we are located in Memphis, TN.

That’s not to say we don’t expect high quality, but we do so in a friendly, team-oriented environment, where initiative and attitude are as important as education and experience. How is your business structured?

We are a B2B company, providing our products direct to distributors and retailers. We have an industrial division and a retail division, both with very specific needs. Our industrial division provides hi-volume, bulk safety products to distributors for industries such as automotive factories, oil fields, electronics assembly plants, and construction/demolition. Our retail division provides retail-ready, merchandisable goods to retailers and partner with major brands, including STANLEY® and Mossy Oak®. We develop in-house nearly all of our products and brands.

What is your mask policy?

As safety is our business, our employees’ safety is as important as our own and our customers. We adhere to the policies and mandates set forth by Shelby County, TN, and/or BUNZL. We also strongly encourage but do not require our employees to be vaccinated. Any employee who is not vaccinated is encouraged to wear a mask while at work.

What type of jobs do you hire for?

We offer full, part-time, temporary, and remote opportunities and they vary through the course of the year as needed. These may be for sales positions, office staff, warehouse work and other specialized positions.
